Benefits of drinking iced matcha lattes
Now - here's the thing with matcha:
- 10x the antioxidants of regular green tea - including those that boost your skin's glow.
- 5X L-theanine compared with regular tea to support a more positive mood and less stress.
- Chlorophyll packed to support the body's natural detoxification pathways.
- 137 times greater catechins - a cell health promoting compound typically found in cocoa, tea, and berries.
So it's no surprise why everyone from celebrities, health professionals, to high level entrepreneurs are drinking more matcha.
But the truth is, it's nature's original energy drink. Trusted for thousands of year's by Buddhist monks who have to stay awake and alert during long periods of meditation.
I'm telling you it's not only a superfood, it's also an elevated energy experience like nothing else you've tried.
Pure, clean energy that feels calm - yet remarkably alert.
Like coffee - but way more chill.

What you'll need to make iced matcha lattes
- 2 teaspoons of ceremonial grade matcha powder
- 4 oz of warm water
- small bowl to mix your matcha
- matcha whisk
- 8 oz milk of choice - organic dairy, or alternative: almond, coconut, or oat milk
- ice cubes
- 16 oz cup
Step 1
Measure out your 2 tbsp of ceremonial grade matcha powder and add it to any small bowl that you have on hand at home.
Step 2
With your matcha powder ready to go in your bowl, add 2 oz or about 1/4 cup of warm water.
Warm means about 170 degrees on your kettle or below boiling. If you don't have a temperature gauge, it's ok.
Just let your water boil, remove it from the heat, and let sit for about 5 minutes and you should be good. If it's too hot, you can burn the delicate matcha powder.
Finally, use your matcha whisk to create a smooth paste.
Step 3
Add the remaining 2 oz of water to your matcha paste and whisk vigorously to create a frothy goodness! You're looking for a smooth consistency in your bowl with a foamy layer on the top.
Step 4
Add ice to your 16oz cup. Pour your frothed matcha over ice. Fill the rest of your cup with your milk of choice. We love a good organic, local whole milk.
But you can easily make yours plant based by using almond, cashew, soy, coconut, or even oat milk.
Try it for yourself and play around with different types of milk to find your favorite. Each one is a little bit different in how it'll pair with your matcha latte.
